Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients
6 cups sifted flour
6 cups sugar
1 large can pumpkin (29 oz) raw not prepared
1 1/2 cups cold water
8 eggs
4 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. baking powder
4 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 1/2 raisons
2 cups oil
(can use pumpkin spice in place of cinnamon and nutmeg)
Directions
Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and spices in large bowl.
Combine 1 can pumpkin, sugar, eggs and oil. Mix until well blended.
Add flour and water to pumpkin mixture. Mix well. Remove beaters and add raisins and nuts. Mix.
Bake in greased pans. 9X5X3 loaf pan. Bake 350 degrees for 45 to 55 minutes check with toothpick.
Makes 4 loaves.
