Apple Pie Mrs. Candel

Ingredients
2 cups of flour
1 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of crisco
5 tablespoons of cold water
* makes top and bottom crust for a 9 in. pie crust*
mix the above by hand into 2 balls.... can put in the refrigerator, while preparing apples. when ready to roll out... do not work dough too long.
Cut up about 5 cups of apples
1 cup of sugar
2-3 tablespoons of tapioca (breads)
mix completely and put into pie crust.. put on top crust...dab a little water on crust rim to help to seal. Pinch crust to seal
Directions
Bake at 415 degrees fro 50 to 60 minutes.
cut slits in top of crust for air to escape.
