Lamb's Wool Cider

Ingredients
4 lrg baking apples
2 qrts. apple cider
2 teaspoons mixed pickling spice
1/4 cup red cinnamon candies (or 12 cinnamon sticks)
Directions
Wrap each apple in foil; place on baking sheet. Bake at 425 degrees for 1 hour until very soft. Scrape pulp from skins and chop coarsely or puree. Wrap pickling spices in a small square of cheese cloth and fasten with string. In large saucepan combine spice, cider and cinnamon candies. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer until candy dissolves. Add apple pulp to cider. RTemove spices and cinnamon sticks (if used) and serve hot.
