Chocolate Chip Rocky Road Pizza

Ingredients

2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
12 oz. pkg. semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Topping:
6- oz pkg. semisweet choclate chips
1 cup mianture marshmallows
1 cup pecan pieces
Combine in small bowl.

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine flour, soda and salt in bowl. In another bowl, cream butter, eggs and sugars until blended. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract. Mix in dry ingredients, along with chocolate chips and nuts. Pat into 14 inch round pizza pan that has been sprayed with nonstick coating. Bake 25 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle topping over cookie crust. Return to the oven for 5-6 minutes, then let stand a few minutes and swirl with spatula. Cool completly then melt 1 cup chocolate chips and drizzle over the pizza. Melt 1 cup of white chocolate topping and drizzle over top. Chill in refrigerator for about 30-45 min, until the choclate hardens. Cut into pizza slices. Yield: 16 slices.

Notes

Can use a 12 inch pizza pan and a 8 inch pizza pan. It is difficult to spread the cookie dough in the pan. I found that putting flour on my hands helped.
