Pumpkin Cranberry Muffins

Ingredients
2 and 2/3 cups sugar
4 eggs
2/3 cup water
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 and 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
2/3 cup crisco solid shortening
1 and 1/3 cups pumpkin
1 and 1/3 cups cranberries
3 and 1/3 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
2/3 cups chopped walnuts
Directions
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, pumpkin and water. Mix well. Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cloves and cinnamon. Mix well. Stir in cranberries. Put into large texas Jumbo Muffin Liners and fill about 2/3 full. Drizzle muffins with granulated sugar and chopped walnuts before baking. Bake 28-32 minutes at 350 degrees.
