Ingredients

Cream well:
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar

In the following order, add to above mixture:
1 and 1/2 cup pumpkin
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 small bag chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
1/2 cup maraschino cherries, cut up

Directions

Drop by teasponn on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-14 minutes. Makes about 4-5 dozen cookies.
