Ginger Cookies

Ingredients
2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup shortening
1 beaten egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup molasses with 2 tsp. dissolved baking soda
1 Tbsp. ginger
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
Directions
Combine all and mix well. Roll in little balls then roll on granulated sugar. Place on greased pan and press down with fork tines. Bake 350 degrees for 6-10 minutes.
