Bernedette’s Scalloped Potatoes with Ham

Ingredients

7 to 10 potatoes
ham, diced
12 slices swiss cheese
12 slices pimento cheese
butter
milk
salt
pepper

Directions

Line bottom of oven with tin foil. Butter inside of large casserole dish. Preheat oven at 350 degrees. Slice potatoes thinly and dice ham. Layer bottom of casserole dish with potatoes and ham. Salt and pepper and add 4 pats of butter on corners. Add 3 to 4 slices of swiss cheese and 3 to 4 slices of pimento cheese. Begin again with potatoes and ham and repeat first step with butter, salt, pepper and cheese. End with cheese on top. Pour 1 1/2 cups of warm milk over top. Cover with casserole lid or tin foil loosely. Bake 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until potatoes are soft. When potatoes are tender, add cheese to top and bake 1/2 hour uncovered or until cheese bubbles.

Great for leftover ham!
