Iced Ricotta Cookies

Ingredients
2 sticks butter
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
4 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. ricotta cheese
Directions
Cream butter, sugar and eggs one at a time and add dry ingredients, ricotta and vanilla. Drop one teaspoon at a time onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
Notes
Icing:
1 stick melted butter. Add milk, vanilla and 2 lbs. of powdered sugar. Ice while warm.
