Sugar and Spice Nuts

Ingredients
3/4 Cup Sugar
1 Tablespoon Sweet Spice Blend
3/4 Teaspoon Salt
1 Egg White
1 Tablespoon Water
1 Pound Pecan Halves or your favorite nuts
Sweet Spice Blend
Makes 6 Tablespoons

2 Tablespoons Light Brown Sugar
2 Tablespoons Ground Cinnamon
4 Teaspoons Dried Ground Ginger
1 Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cloves
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cardamom
Directions
Combine all ingredients for the Sweet Spice Blend in a small bowl. Store in an airtight container.
Combine 3/4 sugar, 1 Tbsp. of Sweet Spice Blend, 3/4 tsp. Salt in a medium bowl, set aside. Beat egg white and 1 tablespoon water in a medium bowl using a handheld egg beater or a wire whisk until foamy (no liquid should remain). Add pecans, stirring until evenly coated. Sprinkle sugar and spice mixture evenly over nuts. Bake on non-stick cookie sheet for 55 minutes at 350 degrees in oven.

* A 2-ounce jar of ground cinnamon will cost about $8 –
you can use cinnamon in its place.*
