Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 t. baking powder
1 cup of butter
2 eggs slightly beaten
1 1/2 t. almond extract

Directions

Sift flour and baking powder into a mixing bowl, Stir in sugar. Cut in butter until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Stir in beaten eggs and almond extract until a smooth dough forms.Chill a few hours or overight. Roll out dough 1/3 at a time and cut various cookie shapes. Palce on an ungreased cookie shet. Bake at 375 degrees - 8-10 minutes.
Icing:
1/4 c. butter or margarine
2 c. powdered sugar
3 T. milk
1 t. almond extract
