Pizzelles

Ingredients

6 Eggs
3 1/2 C. Flour
1 1/2 C. Sugar (white)
1 C. (or 1/2 lb.) Margarine, not butter
4 Tsp. Baking Powder
2 Tbsp. Vanilla or Anise Flavoring (liquid)

Directions

Beat eggs, adding sugar gradually. Beat until smooth. Add melted and cooked margarine. Add either vanilla or anise flavoring. You can split dough and make 2 flavors of pizzelles. Sift flour and baking powder and add to egg mixture. Dough will be sticky. Drop by spoon and bake in hot Pizzelles iron. Time about 3 min. in hot iron. Makes 60 pizzelles.
