Butternut Balls

Ingredients

2 1/2 c. Pillsbury al purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. confectioners' sugar
1 c. butter, softened
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans chopped
(1 aditional c. confectioner's sugar)

Directions

In large mixing bowl combine all dry ingredients, mix thoroughly. Blend in butter and vanilla, blend well. Stir in pecans and mix thoroughly. Shape rounded teaspoons of dough into balls the size of walnuts. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Do not brown. While warm, roll in additional confectioner's sugar. Makes 42 to 48 cookies.
