Remarkable Microwave Fudge

Ingredients

6 T. butter
1 3/4 c. sugar
1- 5 1/3 oz. evaporated milk
1/4 t. salt
1/2- 7 oz. jar marshmallow créme
1- 6 oz. pkg. semisweet choc. chips, peanut butter, or butterscotch chips
1. c. chopped nuts

Directions

In a 2 qt. casserole- put in butter-put in Microave- melt on high 45 seconds. Stir sugar, evaporated milk and salt into melted butter. Cook on high for 3 min. & 30 seconds, until mixture comes to a FULL-BOIL- stirring once-mix well. Cook milk mixture again for 5 min. at 50% power. IT MUST BE AT FULL BOIL.
Add marshmallow créme & chocolate chips. Stir until melted. Stir in nuts- Pour into butter greased foil lined 8x8x2 in. baking pan. Cool until firm. Lift candy from pan & remove foil. Cut into squares. Store refrigerated. Yield: 2 1/4 pounds
