Orange Cookies

Ingredients
1/2 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
juice of orange to make 1/2 cups
rind of 2 oranges (grated)
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp. soda
4 1/2 cup flour
2 eggs
1/2 cup oleo
Directions
Mix well. Bake 375 degrees on ungreased cookie sheet 8 to 10 minutes.
Orange Icing:
3 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup oleo or butter softened
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
about 2 Tbls milk
Orange Frosting:
Omit vanilla and substitute orange juice for milk. Stir in 2 tsp. grated orange peel.
