Praline Pecan Crunch

Ingredients

1- (16oz.) Quaker Oat squares cereal 8 cups
2 cups pecans pieces
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup oleo (1/2 stick)
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. soda (baking)

Directions

Heat oven to 250 degrees: Mix cereal and nuts ina 13x9 pan. Set aside. Mix syrup, brown sugar and oleo in a 2 cup microwavable bowl. Microwave at High -1 1/2 minutes, Stir. Microwave at Hi 1/2 to 1 1/2 minutes more until boiling. Stir in vanilla and soda and pour over cereal. Stir to coat. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes. Spread on baking sheet to cool; break into pieces.

Notes

Can add either cereal or pretzels.
